Inclusive Partners

Opening Doors For Oregon’s Children

Inclusive Partners promotes inclusive child care practices that help all children succeed. We provide technical assistance, training and support to child care providers so families of children with higher needs can play, work, and learn together.

Operating in conjunction with Oregon’s Early Learning Division (ELD), we are the only group providing inclusive resources, technical assistance and subsidies for child care providers and families of children with higher needs in Oregon.

How We Help

Who We Are

Inclusive Partners is a statewide program funded through the Oregon Department of Education, Early Learning Division, and Oregon’s Department of Human Services. We are a program that supports inclusive practices in child care settings.

We work with child care providers caring for children who need additional accommodations to support inclusive care. We offer these supports for children and youth from birth through age 17. Families, child care providers and other partners are able to make requests for our assistance at no cost.

The ADA

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is a federal law protecting the rights of individuals with disabilities.

As services that are open to the public, most child care providers must comply with the ADA. This includes centers, family child care, preschool and out-of-school time programs.
